The Trouble with Distractions | Andy Elmes | 5th September 2021

Family Church Portsmouth was held in the field today and Pastor Andy spoke vividly about the distractions of everyday life facing us all but especially our children. These distractions (social media, peer pressure, gaming, TV, advertising and many more) try to pull our children away from God and a small period of time in Kids Church on Sunday mornings cannot compete with the strength of these anti-Christ forces. Andy uses the very immediate demonstration of a tug of war to show how all parents and indeed all the rest of us in the church community must take responsibility for assisting in ensuring our kids stay on the straight and narrow path every day of their lives.
